I wouldn’t normally post something like this, but it is so beyond acting like a grown up that I have to vent.

In the past year, I received a friend request on myspace from someone I went to school with. I can’t say that I knew her really well, but we weren’t “not friends” so to speak. We have developed an online friendship via messages and so forth.

I have noticed that she has drama in her life. Basically, issues with ex-husband, his new wife, her current husband’s ex-wife. That kind of stuff. And myspace as well as facebook are forums for all of them to use to “get” at each other. We are from a small town and community, so I know her current husband, ex-husband and his new wife. I wouldn’t know the other ex-wife if she walked up and slapped me in the face. Read the rest of this entry »

I am feeling disillusioned tonight. It is a combination of a lot of things and part of the reason why I haven’t been blogging. Something comes up for renewal in July - I think my hosting. I may have to give up the domain blogging and move to another format. A free one. I’m really digging vox’s setup, it is cool. But I love wordpress.

Anyway, I digress. Disillusioned.

I have watched as my husband has worked at the same place for almost two years. I have watched as he worked seven days a week when they were building the place, I have watched as he worked seven days a week after it first opened and business was booming, and I have watched as he worked second shift in most all of this time. I prefer to lead a normal life but some people and certain situations keep that from happening from time to time. I have and still continue to deal with some issues and hope to be in better form in a few days as far as blogging goes. I’ve just been feeling incredibly stressed as far as my job and a local organization I’m in, and incredibly sad at home. That’s all I’ll say at this point.

It is a little disheartening to think you’ve have finally gotten to a point that you have waited your whole life to be at, only to have certain people determined to ruin it for you out of spite and pettiness. They chose to be mean and seem to enjoy drama because their lives are lacking in something. Sigh. (now you know why I’m listening to the song I’m listening to, LOL)

I’ll stop for now…give me a few more days and hopefully, I’ll have shaken some of this off.

So I, like many … well probably most everyone now that the jerks have bought Countrywide … owe BOA money. I have a credit card account with them.

Last year, when I had a zero balance, they sent me an awesome transfer balance offer. So I transferred a balance, wrote my check out for my first payment two weeks before it was due, stuck it in my purse - then forgot to mail it. I figured this out on the day the payment was due, but the jerks wouldn’t let me schedule a payment for that day, but the next day.

Needless to say, they went up on my interest rate after ONE month and ONE DAY late payment. I called them and yes…it was my fault because I forgot the payment. Nothing I would say, no pointing out that I had consistently paid my bill whenever there was a balance - would work. They would not budge. So - I immediately transferred that balance and swore “never again.”

Not just a whole lot going on. I am going to be a little busy for a week or two. My husband has moved his stuff in, so there are assorted boxes in the kitchen. Plus I finally finished up moving stuff out of my former employer’s building, so those boxes are around, too.

I have gotten a few new CDs I still need to listen to. The new Brian Setzer Orchestra I got for Christmas and have YET to listen to. I have got to get on that! And the new Raul Malo (After Hours). That man’s voice is awesome.

Oh yea…I’m addicted to Guitar Hero. Totally. We have GH2, GH3 and I really, really MUST have the 80’s version. I have mastered Easy and am now on Medium. I watch my son on Hard and just don’t see that happening for me.

Really enjoying this being married. If only we worked the same shift. He has got some asshole bastard bosses. I work days, he works 2nd. His boss works days, and his boss’s wife works 2nd. See something wrong with this picture?
