school is officially out for summer. We made it through the month! We had THREE graduations to attend. My oldest bonus son graduated Law Enforcement Academy, my bonus daughter graduated from middle school (something they don’t do at my kids school, or we would’ve had another to go to), and my little nephew graduated high school last night. Where they did NOT sing the Alma Mater! What is up with that? It just seemed wrong.
Now, my things to look forward to this summer?

great weekend Well, it seems I have a visitor who is interested in what is going on in my world so I thought I would share my weekend activities with everyone.
We didn’t have the kiddos this weekend, and not a whole lot of extra money having gone to Memphis a couple of weeks ago, and paying off some bills. We decided that we haven’t been on a “date” in a while - you know, dinner, a movie. So we decided to have a date night last night. Unfortunately, he had to work on Friday evening but we did have some alone time after he got home. (hehe)
We got up Saturday morning and worked on putting up some of the autographed pics that he and I have collected thru the years (more him since he was in radio). We moved some other photos, came up with a plan, and worked together on putting them up. You can see pics of them in my flickr album. After that, I took a little nap since he slept in and I didn’t. my birthday celebration I had a really excellent weekend. Let’s start out with photos (details with follow; click on “more” below):
We left Friday after work, checked in, went to TGI Friday’s for supper, then drove to West Memphis to the new casino and goofed off for a little while. On Saturday, we went to the mall. I got some new clothes for me and the kids, got a new hair cut and color, and we had lunch. We then went out last evening with friends; we had supper at the Hard Rock Cafe on Beale Street, then went to Alfred’s where we saw Kevin & Bethany Paige. View the rest of this entry…
