are better. So as not to burst my bubble, I shall now talk about mundane, silly frivolous things.
I noticed that Jennifer has found out she’s pregnant! How cool is that? Now I have two friends named Jennifer who are expecting.
Let’s see, I went to Lowe’s today and bought a few things to help with the redecorating I am about to do of my daughter’s room. I found a Snoopy Christmas inflatable that I did buy. I found two cool snow globes with Snoopy that I did not buy. Maybe in a few weeks. They also had a great smelling Pine candle that I wanted, but…it will also have to wait.

I had a really excellent weekend. Let’s start out with photos (details with follow; click on “more” below):
We left Friday after work, checked in, went to TGI Friday’s for supper, then drove to West Memphis to the new casino and goofed off for a little while. On Saturday, we went to the mall. I got some new clothes for me and the kids, got a new hair cut and color, and we had lunch. We then went out last evening with friends; we had supper at the Hard Rock Cafe on Beale Street, then went to Alfred’s where we saw Kevin & Bethany Paige. View the rest of this entry…

I know I owe several of you on my blogroll visits. I promise you I am going to work hard on visiting ALL of you this weekend! I’ve been in a bit of a funk…was going to have a little party at my house Friday but couldn’t get anyone other than 3 people to RSVP, so I think I’m cancelling it. It has kinda bummed me out.
Anyway - I haven’t disappeared, and I will be around this weekend to visit you and see what is up with you here lately!!

I know I promised to blog on this…I’ve been super lazy since I got back. Not good.
All I can say is - I had a great time. I felt really relaxed. It is beautiful in that area, and it was nice to be with my old friend, catching up. Someone who I have so many things in common with, and who TRULY understand me. I really want to go back up there in the next few weeks to get more photos; it will be awesome when the leaves change. Things in my life right now could probably not be going better. I have heard from an old friend that I was out of touch with. Just situations with both of us caused us to be estranged for several years, but she emailed me and honestly…as goofy as it sounds, I am so happy to have her back in my life. We’ve gone through a lot since we lost touch, and that is probably a good thing. It appears we have both changed in ways that will just help the friendship grow now.
Onto football…
I love the fall! Don’t you? The weather cools off…I love the feel of it, the crisp cool air, the leaves changing colors…and I love football!
