We made it through the month! We had THREE graduations to attend. My oldest bonus son graduated Law Enforcement Academy, my bonus daughter graduated from middle school (something they don’t do at my kids school, or we would’ve had another to go to), and my little nephew graduated high school last night. Where they did NOT sing the Alma Mater! What is up with that? It just seemed wrong.

Now, my things to look forward to this summer?

• Spending time with my husband.
• New Janet Evanovich Plum book next month!
• Sex & the City movie.
• Night Ranger concert…maybe?
• Trip to Bluff Falls!
• Some things I’ve planned as a surprise.

Sorry for those last couple of posts…just a situation that irritated me. So I’ll drop it for now. After all, it’s the holidays, right?

We have been busting our behinds, finishing up shopping for food at this point, and a few last minute gifts. Cleaning house. Wrapping the last of the presents. Laundry. And also working on wedding plans at the same time. Spending a lot of time together and really enjoying it and each other. It’s been really nice.

He had to work today and the kids came home, so it’s back to his place for the night. I miss him already.

This year has sucked, but I think 2008 is going to be the best yet.

So it’s Christmas time and the site is all spruced up. Like it? If I have time this weekend, there was a free wordpress Christmas theme I was thinking of adding - the key here being “time.”

My ‘myspace’ page is also decorated but, because there are some extremely stupid people in this world, my page isn’t public anymore. It makes me sad because I think I’m pretty good and myspace page design. But it will be public again in a few more weeks.

Which is why I haven’t posted much lately. Just really busy and stressed. The wedding plans are going well - location taken care of, dress/clothes taken care of (except for the girl), invitations out, honeymoon location secured…just a few small odds and ends and we will be ready. If everyone lights a candle at 7pm and keeps it burning for at least 1 hour there will be a continuous “WAVE OF LIGHT” over the entire world in memory of all babies lost due to stillbirth, SIDS or any other reason.

I noticed that Jennifer has found out she’s pregnant! How cool is that? Now I have two friends named Jennifer who are expecting.

Let’s see, I went to Lowe’s today and bought a few things to help with the redecorating I am about to do of my daughter’s room. I found a Snoopy Christmas inflatable that I did buy. I found two cool snow globes with Snoopy that I did not buy. Maybe in a few weeks. They also had a great smelling Pine candle that I wanted, but…it will also have to wait.
