if I will ever get the new Maroon 5 song out of my head?

I LOVE THIS SONG. Not necessarily because the lyrics are meaningful to me in any way, though I’m sure myself and others have felt that way about someone. It is just a cool, funky song. It makes me wonder why in hell it took them so long to release a second CD! They just coasted on that first one for-freaking-ever. I only ever really loved “Harder to Breathe” from that CD. None of the other songs really did anything for me.

But I like this new song by them - go to Maroon 5’s myspace page to listen for yourself if you are one of the goobs out there who hasn’t heard it.

I got a stash of new CD’s yesterday because I joined the BMG CD club - got some Blossom Dearie, INXS, Raul Malo, Alicia Keys and Earth, Wind and Fire. I love getting new music! And George bought me the new Damone last weekend. Isn’t he sweet?

Well if anyone is reading, who are you listening to right now? Any recommendations?

So I’m going out on a date tomorrow night! I’m sure you all think that is no big deal, but George works 2nd shift most everyday of the week, so it IS a big deal. We are going to make another trip to Memphis, and check out the flea market, then go out that night.

Things are kinda getting crazy around here; the end of school, figuring out the kids schedule with their dad, working around when he wants to take them somewhere and when I want to take them somewhere. My son’s grades had better be improved if he doesn’t want to die of boredom this summer.

I took the kids to see Spiderman 3 this week. I thought it was pretty good. I was always a fan of Thomas Haden Church - going back to when he was Lowell on Wings.

I finished the latest Sookie Stackhouse book by Charlaine Harris last weekend. It was pretty good…and it leaves you kinda hanging! She doesn’t normally do that. But it was an excellent read.

Sorry, this has got to be one of my more boring posts. I’m still trying to find some motivation to blog at all. I promise to get better soon.
