I know I promised to blog on this…I’ve been super lazy since I got back. Not good.
All I can say is - I had a great time. I felt really relaxed. It is beautiful in that area, and it was nice to be with my old friend, catching up. Someone who I have so many things in common with, and who TRULY understand me. I really want to go back up there in the next few weeks to get more photos; it will be awesome when the leaves change. As you all might know, I work at a small business (it’s just me and my boss). We were doing the mail thing the old fashioned way for about a year…meaning me going to the post office and buying rolls of $.39 and $.24 cent stamps. Taking certified mail for them to affix postage and me write a check. This wouldn’t be so bad but they are freaking slow as hell at this post office for one thing, and for another…there is one woman in particular there who rubs me the wrong way. Everyone else there is nice (which explains the slow - you get proper attention) but not her.

I went to visit a friend in Flippin over the weekend, and I’ve had various activities over the past week. I have to prepare a newsletter tomorrow night so it will probably be Tuesday or so before I post anything on the weekend activities. I had such a GREAT time!

I was getting ready for work one morning this week, and had the TV on VH1 as is my custom. Sometimes it is the only way I hear the new stuff first, I hate to admit.
I heard this jazzy, groovy vibe and starting swaying around the room before I knew it. I looked at the screen and saw John Legend. I stopped what I was doing completely until the video was done so I could find out the name of this gem. This gem is called Save Room. It is reminescent of the 70’s…there is a song that it reminds me of and everytime I think I have it figured out which one…it eludes me.
